Associate Membership to IARBA is open to any person involved in the radio broadcasting industry, whether employed for a salary or as a volunteer. "Radio Broadcasting Industry" also includes Internet, Satellite and cable Broadcasters also. Associate members do not have voting rights and can not stand as committee members, but have access to all IARBA member services.

Associate Membership is $22 AUS per year. Facilities for processing payment are currently donated by "The Newcastle Youth Radio Association" (www.isonliveradio.com).

Full Membership is only available to Radio Services voting as single entities (ie. each station's nominated representative has a single vote). A "Radio Service" may be Terrestial (AM/FM/SW), Satellite, Digital, DRM, IADR Digital, Closed System or Internet and subscription or free-to-air. Applicants must nominate a representative and first submit their request in writing outlining their motivations for seeking full membership. The Secretary has up to 60 days to respond to your request in writing indicating the date of the next general meeting at which your application will be tabled for consideration. Prior to the meeting a non-refundable application fee of $22 AUS is payable by the applicant.

In the event your application is unsucessful you may re-apply at any time 30 days after notification of your unsucessful application. Any number of subsequant applications by the same applicant can be made at the same fee of $22 AUS per application.
