File format
Please upload your shows as 128k MP3's, this has been assessed by our technicians
as the best compromise between sound quality and bandwidth usage.  We currently
only accept complete shows either 30min. or 60min. in length. If your show has a
break in the middle upload it as two separate 30 minute files, otherwise upload the
show as one complete file.

Australian Radio Advertising Guidelines

You are limited to precisely 4 minutes of included advertising every 60 minutes of
program. This is the standard we set which you can be under, but must not exceed
substantially. Where a problem occurs we will email you to clarify the standard. If
you are including advertising spots phrase them in terms of sponsorship (i.e. "Show
Name is  sponsored by Joes garage: for all your mechanical repairs"). As the
community stations out here aren't allowed to have advertisements. Advertising spots
must be "sponsorship" which usually sounds exactly the same with "...Our Sponsor"
at the end of the spot. For example “Come to Joes Garage for all your mechanical
repairs, Our Sponsor”. Most subscriber stations are not community stations but this
approach will make your program suitable for all types of stations.

Advertising rules are fairly flexible in Australia, but its important to take note of what
you should and shouldn't do to avoid stations declining to air your program because
the included advertising is unsuitable. You can not advertise tobacco products or
medicines, or encourage people to commit a criminal act. In general some "language"
is OK within song lyrics, providing it is not overly obscene or descriptive. There are
also the usual restrictions on sexism, racism etc.
