Ausradiosearch is a venture of Ison Live Radio, an Australian feature radio company with product being aired weekly on radio stations worldwide since 1997. We are also paid to distribute promotional radio CD's for free to Australian radio stations by some of the largest independent record labels across America and the UK. This means effectively, that they are paying for Ausradiosearch to exist so that they can get their new product to you. Everybody wins in this situation and working together Australian radio gets more great new music and a truly local radio search engine.

BANNER ADVERTISING
At the top and bottom of this page you will see banner adverts. Each time a web surfer clicks on one of these and ends up purchasing goods or services from the vendor, we are paid a commission on that sale. Naturally this is nothing new in cyberspace, but it is another way we keep our services to local stations free. Just as the 28sec. spots bring in the "bread & butter" money on radio, so too does banner advertising on webpages.

AUSTRALIAN RADIO DATABASE
We also sell membership access to the radio station database. It contains those details not normally listed in our search engine: such as phone numbers, email addresses, names of Music Directors etc. Larger overseas promoters pay to access this information so they can bypass us and send their radio-friendly CD's straight to your door. The information in the database is nothing more than you could find in the yellowpages, or with a few hours web surfing; but promoters pay us for the work we put in collating it together in one easy to use place. We DO NOT allow access to spammers, marketing companies, or providers of product other than free radio-friendly CD's.

HOW CAN WE DISPLAY YOUR BANNER OR STATION LOGO FOR FREE?
Ausradiosearch has a specific policy on whom we target for revenue generation. Banner advertising is given to Radio services for free, companies who sell products to the radio industry are charged a fee for the service. Lets face it there would be little economic sense in a radio station paying us to display a banner as radio services are Australian-based and Joe American listening to your live audio stream in Virginia is hardly likely to drop into the local fruit shop for his veges!.....On the other hand it is worth it to those selling radio products as they will reach specifically their target audience. Providing your banner advert or station logo is hosted on your own web space, it costs us nothing to display it to our web surfers. We simply place a link to your site and the image, into our banner rotation system - the image loads through from your site when it comes up in the rotation.
