Now you have audio files available to Robot for play back. Make sure any programs you opened to prepare the audio have been closed and now restore Robot.
If you used the guide in chapter 2 to prepare your audio, the files have already been placed in the correct areas to begin. It is important however that you read this guide to the library to familiarize yourself with how it works and that you click the "Update" button (explained later).

You do not need to use the Robot library, you can also simply use windows explorer if you are more comfortable with it. You copy and paste audio files into the relevant robot folders on your hard drive. The most common ones are:-
C:\robot\songs C:\robot\id C:\robot\ads C:\robot\comedy C:\robot\liners C:\robot\daily
Although you must still use the "Update" button (covered later) to let Robot know about the new files you have dumped into its folders. Exist

ing users of Robot products may find this method faster as they will be used to it. If you followed the guide in chapter 2 you set CDEX to put the files into the correct folders for you as you ripped them, also you saved the audio from Audacity into the correct folders.
Doing it the Robot Library way! On the library screen Robot provides you with two internal methods to import audio into its library:
1) Transfer audio resources into Robot Folders 2) Make a folder with audio resources a Robot song folder
1) TRANSFER METHOD
The "Transfer" method copies audio files from your hard drive into the relevant Robot folders. On the left hand side is a directory tree of your hard drive(s) and CD-ROM. Removable drives (such as USB pocket drives) are not currently supported, although you will still be able to access them manually with Windows Explorer. Linux shared drives are supported.
The transfer works left to right. At the left are the audio resources on your hard drive, at the right are the Robot folders.
The source (left) In the same manner as Windows explorer, when you click on a folder the contents will be displayed in the contents box beside the tree (at right). This will display all of the files in that folder, whether they are audio files or not.
You can preview an audio file by clicking on its name in the contents box and clicking the "play" button beneath. You can stop the play back by clicking the "stop" button or let it play its full length and stop automatically.
