Any experienced narrowcaster will tell you that theres always plenty
to do to keep a small station running! Robot doesn't have a whole lot of
features a narrowcaster WON'T need, its a nice simple easily manageable
system that lets you maintain your automation with the minimum of
effort so you can get on with other things. There are lots of flash,
so-called "radio" packages on the market, that do all sorts of amazing
colorful things, but when it comes down to it reliability and sounding
like a radio service (rather than an mp3 jukebox!) is all that matters to the serious low power
broadcaster.
HISTORY
Robot software began with Robot 1.0 which was developed over 2 years
working at ZFM 94.5, a narrowcast station in Newcastle NSW. We studied
the precise needs of the narrowcast broadcaster and designed a small
but efficient program to make you sound like the largest most
impressive commercial stations. This system was run tested continuously
in our development centre for almost 3 years without a single crash
or lapse to program to air. It was later enhanced with new features for
SkyFM, a narrowcast network in Tiaro Queensland and became Robot 3-1.
Later we released Robot 2002 a complete rebuild from scratch of the popular Robot 3-1
Narrowcast radio package. Combining the world class stability of 3-1,
and integrating fully with windows to provide a polished
professional sound.
Following on from this sucess we released the state of the art Robot 2002 PRO.
The latest release is Robot 2002 PRO Build 6, world class, broadcast quality, automation that
combines over 12 years of research and testing in one great package.

A lot of companies make a big deal about their product support. This they will tell you is a good reason to go with a product that often times is highly inferior, because there is "always someone on the end of the phone". When you purchase software from us your support request will not be handled by a secretary paid to sit on the end of a phone, which lets face it, often is only wasting your time while they "get someone to call you back" or a so-called support operator who is only one step ahead of you with the manual. Every software support request is handled directly by the programming co-ordinator personally which means your talking to one of the team that wrote the actual program your using who knows it inside out. All software products receive rapid support normally within 24 hours via email. This is often times more efficient than talking to someone on the telephone as you have a written explanation in front of you and whatever graphics, software patches etc. you might need. In urgent circumstances you can also call our 24 hour customer support numbers which will connect you directly to the Programming Co-ordinator's mobile phone. |
